Entrepreneurs Repurpose Work Projects, Finding What to Hold Onto
Not every project or program has to be built from scratch. We can waste a lot of time and energy reinventing the wheel.
Today I was in the library and I realized just how much I love a library, the smell of the books, the neatly organized shelves, the resource assistance, my pick of favorites and the card that lets me take these books home. What’s not to love? Without patrons, libraries could become extinct with the online competition for buying books and they could have quit when easy movie rentals began to replace faithful readers. But they added free movies to their stock.
Great programs, projects and ideas are often left by the wayside because we invest too easily in the next new thing and the next. While some things will expire whether you try to pump new life in them or not, and some are completely out of your control, certain projects, programs, workshops and products that you’ve introduced may still have plenty of value. Don’t abandon good ideas or projects to develop something because it didn’t play as successfully the first time as anticipated or didn’t have the shelf life you anticipated. Repurpose it. Here are some ideas for doing that:

And don’t just pump up your products or services with a new look without determining your ROI and how it’ll play with the new customers you’ll want to attract.
Do you have a program, product or service that you can revisit to repurpose?
